Lady in a Box
Created and directed by Steven Wasson and Corinne Soum, performed by Catherine Young (USA). Adrift in her thoughts, an “Alice in Wonderland” like character invents a possible life while waiting for an imaginary friend. “If life is but a dream, and if I had a planet of my own, everything would be methodically nonsensical”. Performed at The White Church Theatre Project in December 2018.
The Dreams of an Umbrella
Created and directed by Steven Wasson and Corinne Soum. Performed by Alexander Correa and Bya Braga. (Brazil). With humor and mystery, this piece portrays the destiny of two souls eternally wandering in an absurd search for each other. Performed at the White Church Theatre Project in August 2018.
Idleness, Sorrow, a Friend and a Foe
Created and directed by Steven Wasson and Corinne Soum, Performed by Catherine Young (USA). This play explores the solitude of the woman poet through the intermingling of movement and texts from Sapho, Dickinson, Stein and Parker. Performed at The White Church Theatre Project in December 2016, and July 2017, and at The Broom Street Theatre in Madison in September 2017.
Steps in the Hallway

Another Pataphysical Lesson
Summer School 2016. Created and Directed by Steven Wasson and Corinne Soum. Every evening the members of the Pataphysical Ladies Society gather, under the guidance of an unusual professor, to reinvent space and time. Absurd demonstrations and endless confrontations shape their purgatorial land of melancholy. Performed at The White Church Theatre Project in July 2016.
